Participate in the 1st Annual Black Academic Olympics

The Black community is in crisis. From a struggling Black media industry to fewer and fewer African American males entering college, we need to take immediate action to reverse these disturbing trends. But, we can turn it all around through education.

That's why the Historical Black Press Foundation is pleased to announce the 1st Annual Black Academic Olympics, as part of the 180th Anniversary of America's Black Press. We will use jeopardy Black history questions to excite youth about our legacy and the importance of America's Black Press. Student will compete for an internship at one of the nation's most important Black newspapers and/or magazines as well as a scholarship prize.

Please answer our urgent call to be a part of this exciting. We want to make academics the new sporting event for Black students, but we need your help!
